Education: Detailed Description • Create complex JIRA workflows including project workflows, custom fields, notification schemes, reports and dashboards in JIRA • Lead and provide technical assistance during JIRA upgrades and integration • Architect and build Atlassian Confluence environments from the ground up • Provide support to agile development teams in their use of agile/ALM tools • Escalate issues and potential issues to the appropriate stakeholders and management • Adhere to process, tools, and metrics standards established by the ALM and process engineering teams • Perform all of the above duties independently, with minimal supervision, keeping managers, team members, and stakeholders informed of progress • Ability to work in a fast paced delivery focused environment • Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned Job Requirements • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related science is required • 3-6 years of related programming work experience is required • Experience supporting JAVA/J2EE application programming is desired • Strong knowledge of programming concepts and techniques required • Sound knowledge of system development principles, procedures and methodologies required • Ability to work on general programming tasks without instruction • Knowledge of quality assurance testing and walkthroughs • Ability to interact with all levels of personnel and communicate clearly in a professional manner. • Direct experience in a Health Care application environment with the ability to demonstrate an understanding of claims processing and cost containment requirements is desired • Possess a working knowledge of PC software programs, including MS Office Suite, Visio, and MS Project. • Exceptional skills to take general input and direction from project leads (Senior Programmer Analyst or Technical Specialist) and to subsequently organize and complete projects independently • Highly motivated self-starter with capability to quickly learn, and work with new technologies and complex technical environments • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills and strong teamwork relationships. • Ability to listen to the needs of our internal clients, communicate clearly, and determine ideal configuration for a new development teams and projects • Strong background in JIRA, Confluence and administration for agile development processes • JIRA experience including installation, configuration, maintenance, reporting dashboards, new project creation, and integration with other tools such as Confluence • JIRA experience in a DevOps lifecycle is a plus • Experience with Java development, Atlassian tools (cloud) as well as experience with Stash/Git is desirable • Experience with 3rd party add-ons and plugins for JIRA/Confluence for deployment/release management is desirable • Experience with modern software development practices (test-driven development, SCRUM, DevOps, and continuous integration) is a plus • Ability to work on a computer up to 7 hours a day • Regularly required to sit for long periods of time, and occasionally stand and walk • Regularly uses hands to operate computer and other office equipment • Close vision required for computer usage • Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, climb and lift up to 25 pounds • Ability to maintain consistent, regular attendance • Ability to report to perform tasks in a physical work office environment
